KING CRUISER WRECK (Near Shark Point / Hin Musang)

Diving boat trip from Phuket (20 Miles): Navigation of 2 hours and 10 minutes by a powered day dive boat.
Visibility: 5-20 meters. Depth: 18-30 meters.
The 80 meters steel hulled passenger ferry King Cruiser had been sunk on May 1997 by hurting Anemone Reef. That huge catamaran rests within the zone of Shark Point Marine Sanctuary in about 30 meters of water on a sandy bottom. Experienced divers can swim through most of the wreck.

SHARK POINT (Hin Musang)

Diving boat trip from Phuket (20 Miles): Navigation of 2 hours and 10 minutes by a powered day dive boat.
Visibility: 5-20 meters. Depth: 3-20 meters.
Shark Point (Hin Musang) is classified as a Marine Sanctuary. This reef is home to an incredible profusion of sea creatures with soft and hard corals, tropical and pelagic fish and Leopard-Sharks for great pictures. The density and diversity of marine life here is favorably compared to the best coral reefs anywhere in the world.

- Per diver (Tanks & Weights - 3 dives): 3,900 Baht
Remarks:
- Dives at the King Cruiser Wreck require all divers to be at least "CMAS 2-Star Diver", "Advanced Diver" or equivalent level and to have 30 dives recorded in their logbooks as dives are between 18 and 30 meters, sometimes in rough seas and strong currents.
- Shark Point, King Cruiser Wreck, Anemone Reef and Koh Doc Mai Island are four dive sites in the open sea and do not fit for non-divers and children as there are no islands nearby and the water is too deep for snorkeling on surface and swimming safely.

PROGRAM OF THE DAY DIVE TRIP - KOH DOC MAI - SHARK POINT - ANEMONE REEF - KING CRUISER WRECK

- 06:30 - 08:00 - Transfer from the hotel to the Seafarer Divers diving center in Chalong Bay Marina.
- 08:00 - 08:30 - Diving and snorkeling bags check-out, filling administrative papers and transfer then boarding and briefing aboard the day dive boat at the Chalong Bay Marina.
- 08:30 - 11:00 - Navigation and breakfast on the way to the dive sites of Hin Musang (King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point).
- 11:00 - 16:00 - Buffet-style lunch, fruits all day-long, 3 fun dives for certified divers and training divers at the dive sites around Hin Musang (King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai Island).
- 16:00 - 17:30 - Navigation back to the Chalong Bay Marina.
- 17:30 - 19:00 - Disembarking and transfer to the hotel.

DAY DIVE TRIPS INCLUDE

- SCUBA review for certified diver: Ideal for certified divers who have not dived for a few months and want to start their diving vacation in complete safety with a refresher course under the supervision of our multilingual instructor / divemaster including 2 dives and full scuba diving equipment.
- Certified diver (Fun dives): Tanks, weights and 2 fun dives under the supervision of our multilingual Instructor / Divemaster.

INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR BOOKING

Reservation for any dive tour (Mandatory by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports)
To book an excursion, a day of diving or a diving course with Seafarer Divers Phuket, we need to have this information:
- By all participants: Name and first name, photocopy of passport, nationality, full address in Phuket (Hotel with room number, private house, condo, etc.), arrival and departure dates to and from Thailand.
- Per diver: Photocopies of the diver's certification and logbook with the last dives (certified diver only), height and weight in metric system, the size of the BCD (Stab-jacket) and the wetsuit (XXXL, XXL, XL, L, M, S, XS), the size of the feet for the fins.
- Diver level requirements: Valid certification of the Advanced Diver or its equivalence with at least 9 dives certified on the logbook and the last dive made from the previous 6 months.
- Compulsory dive equipment: Mask, snorkel, 1 mouthpiece regulator, dive computor, and surface marker buoy.
