RESPONSABILITIES OF THE RESCUE DIVER
The role of a Rescue Diver is not only to rescue divers who have suffered an accident, but also to prevent problems by detecting material defects and assessing the psychological state of divers.
He is aware of the risks inherent to the environment in which he evolves and knows how to adapt to it.
The "Rescue" diver acts as a transition between recreational diving and professional diving whose first step is the Divemaster course.
2-3 DAY RESCUE DIVER TRAINING PROGRAM
During this training, the student will learn to respond to critical situations in and out of the water, but beforehand, he will learn to identify and control problems that may occur during the dive.
Here are the elements that the student will learn throughout the training:
- Recognize stress in a diver.
- Be ready for an emergency.
- Administer oxygen to a patient
- Assistance from the shore or boat.
- Attend a conscious diver on the surface.
- Preventive identification of material failures.
- Outings with a conscious / unconscious diver.
- Thermal failures of the body system.
- Manage an accident related to pressure.
- The procedures for a missing diver.
- Self rescue.
- Manage a drowning.
- Artificial respiration.
- Manage an unconscious diver underwater / on the surface.
- Master the scene.
- Organize the evacuation.
- Control of injuries related to the underwater world.
- Fill out an accident report.
PRICES FOR THE RESCUE DIVER TRAINING COURSE
Rescue Diver training course includes:
All transfers from Kamala, Kalim, Patong North and South, Karon, Kata, Chalong, Rawai and Naiharn beaches only (Pick-up from other beaches: contact us), breakfast, buffet-lunch, drinking water, soft-drinks, fruits and cakes, full diving equipment, tanks and weights, instructor's fees, travel and dive insurances, digital teaching material and certification fees.
Rescue Diver training course does not include:
Beers and land transfers apart from Kamala, Kalim, Patong North & South, Karon, Kata, Chalong and Rawai & Naiharn beaches.
SSI DIVE TRAINING COURSES
SSI Diver Stress & Rescue + React Right (3 days): 10,000 Baht
PADI DIVE TRAINING COURSES
PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) (1 day in classroom): 4,000 Baht
PADI Rescue Diver (3 days): 10,000 Baht
PADI Rescue Diver + Emergency First Response (EFR) (4 days): 14,000 Baht
CMAS DIVE TRAINING COURSE
CMAS 2* Diver (5 Days & 12 dives): 16,800 Baht
Remark:
CMAS, PADI and SSI dive training courses such as Free Diver, Beginner-Diver, Open Water Diver, Nitrox Diver, Deep Diver, Specialty Diver, Advanced Diver, Rescue Diver, Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster or Diving Guide, may be taught during day dive trips at almost all Phuket dive sites. Consult us.
INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR BOOKING
Reservation for any dive tour (Mandatory by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports)
To book an excursion, a day of diving or a diving course with Seafarer Divers Phuket, we need to have this information:
- By participant: Name and surname, photocopy of passport, nationality, full address in Phuket (Hotel with room number, private house, condo, etc...), photocopies of the diving certification and the dive log book (certified diver only).
- By diver: Photocopies of the diver's certification and dive log (certified diver only), height, weight, size (XXL, XL, L, M, S, XS) of buoy and suit diving, the size of the feet.
