DAY DIVE TRIPS - REGULAR DAY DIVE BOATS
2-3 dives per day with regular departures from Phuket (Chalong Pier Marina)

 

 

Prices include transfers from Patong, Karon, Kata and Rawai only (Pick-up from other beaches: Private transfers by taxi or minibus are charged in extra), powered boat, Breakfast, lunch, fruit, water, 2-3 dives, divemaster supervision, weights and tanks with air.

Prices do not include beers, soft-drinks, dive and snorkeling equipments as well entree fee in marine parks.

National Park fees - Admission for Thai: 100 Baht. Admission for Thai child: 50 Baht. Admission for foreigner: 500 Baht. Admission for foreign child: 300 Baht. Extra for Diver (Thai & Foreigner alike): 200 Baht per diving day.

Underwater marine life -
Dive on the East Side is with easy conditions, clear water and a good variety of marine life. Dives on the West side consists mostly of granite rocks, sparse coral growth, invertebrates and a good variety of reef fish. Racha Yai Island is the perfect place for a diver to do a check dive.

 

KOH RACHA NOI & KOH RACHA YAI ISLANDS
- Diver (3 dives): 4500 Baht.
- Non-Diver: 2900 Baht.

Underwater marine life -

Underwater marine life -
Dive consists of rocky slopes, coral gardens and huge rock pinnacles. Marine life here includes both hard and soft corals, crinoids of many colours, and a wide variety of reef fish with occasionally pelagic fish. Many divers compare the dive spots with those in the Similan/Surin Islands.

 

SHARK POINT - ANEMONE REEF - KING CRUISER WRECK - KOH DOC MAI

Distance from Phuket: 12 Miles (About 1hr10).
Visibility: 10-20 metrers. Depth: 3-30 metrers.
Underwater marine life -
The East Side of the island offers a wall rich in invertebrates and a good representation of tube corals. There are large moray eels, Black-banded Sea Snakes, Honeycomb Groupers and angelfish, and you have a good chance of seeing Leopard Sharks out on the sand. The western side of the island features a steeply sloping reef. Both Blacktip and Whitetip Reef Sharks have been seen here as well as visiting pelagic are often on view.

Shark Point (Hin Musang).
Distance from Phuket: 20 Miles (About 1hr50).
Visibility: 10-20 metrers. Depth: 3-20 metrers.
Underwater marine life -
Shark Point is classified as a Marine Sanctuary. This reef is home to an incredible profusion of sea creatures with soft and hard corals, tropical and pelagic fish and Leopard-Sharks for great pictures. The density and diversity of marine life here is favorably compared to the best coral reefs anywhere in the world.

Anemone Reef.
Distance from Phuket: 20 Miles (About 1hr50).
Visibility: 10-20 metrers. Depth: 3-20 metrers.

Underwater marine life - Anemone Reef is a collection of rocky plateau. As you might guess, the top part of the reef is smothered in sea anemones; there are many residents such as clownfish, shrimps and Porcelain Crabs. Elsewhere on the reef you will find large clusters of soft corals and enormous gorgonian sea fans. At its deepest point a solitary rock is home to a group of juvenile moray eels.

King Cruiser Wreck.
Distance from Phuket: 20 Miles (About 1hr50).
Visibility: 10-20 metrers. Depth: 3-20 metrers.
Underwater marine life -
The 80 meters steel hulled passenger ferry had been sunk on May 1997 by hurting Anemone Reef. That huge catamaran rests within the zone of Shark Point Marine Sanctuary in about 30 meters of water on a sandy bottom. Experienced divers can swim through most of the wreck.

Phi-Phi Islands offers numerous walls, caverns and caves, as well as shallow coral gardens and sloping reefs. Typical sights include both hard and soft coral, nudibranchs, shellfish and many other invertebrates. Fish life is abundant and range from coral reef fish to turtle, leopard shark or whale shark.

 

KOH SIMILAN ISLANDS (Marine National Park).

Scheduled day dive trips: Daily from Mid-October until Mid-May.
Similan Island National Park - Distance from Tap Lamuk : 30 Miles (Speed-Boat : About 2hr00).
Visibility: 20-30 metrers. Depth: 3-30 metrers.
Diving level: For divers from all levels.
Underwater marine life -
The Similan Islands can claim as one of the top 10 destinations in Asia with over 20-30 different dives. On the East Coast, the dives are on gentle slopes and drop-offs of fish teeming with impressive gardens of sea anemones and corals flourishing hard or soft. Dives on the west coast is completely different. Here, huge granite boulders cascade down to the bottom at depths of 40m or more. The strong currents prevent the accumulation of sand between the rocks, promoting the formation of a network of tunnels, arches and caves to explore. The currents bring nutrients for masses of gorgonians, crinoids, soft corals and lush. Pelagic like whale sharks or reef sharks, manta rays, the eagle ray, barracuda, kingfish and tuna are frequently observed.
